2 Chronicles 32 tells the story of Senaqueribe, king of Assyria, besieting Jerusalem and challenging the God of Israel. Hezekiah, king of Judah, trusted the Lord and led the people in prayer and preparation for battle. God responded to his faith and sent an angel to destroy the Assyrian army. Psalm 46:1: "God is our refuge and fortress, a good help in anguish." This verse talks about trust in God in times of danger and necessity, exactly what Hezekiah and the people of Judah did when they faced the Assyrian army.

This verse describes how God sent an angel to destroy the Assyrian army and save Jerusalem. It was a powerful demonstration of the power of God and his faithfulness to his people.

Hezekiah and the people of Judah trusted God and were victorious against the Assyrian army.
