22. So chastise your souls with the obedience of charity, in fraternal love, and love one another from a simple heart, attentively.

" Holiness of life is a recurring theme in the Bible, and here we see the need to control our desires to live honorably.

Hebrews 12:14: "Seek to live in peace with all and sanctification; without it no one will see the Lord." Sanctification is again mentioned as something essential to see God and live in peace with the people around us.
