1 Kings 17:1: "Then Elijah, The Tesbite, of the residents of Gilead, said to Ahab: 'As certain as the Lord lives, God of Israel, before whose face I am, that in these years neither dew nor rain there will be, but according to my word. " These verses show how rain is a symbol of God's Word that can bring life and prosperity.
Zechariah 10:1: "Peda to the Lord rain in the time of late rain, yes, to the Lord, who makes the lightning; and will give them abundant rain, and to each one, weed in the field." This verse talks about how God can send rain and prosperity if the people pray and ask with faith.
