Ezekiel, 2

5. Perhaps it may be that they will hear, and perhaps they may be quieted. For they are a provoking house. And they shall know that there has been a prophet in their midst.

This verse shows the similarity between Ezekiel's mission and that of Jesus, who also sent his disciples to preach and warn the people, even in the midst of hostility and opposition.

Acts 20:26-27: "Therefore, on this day I declare you that I am innocent of the blood of all, for I did not fail to proclaim you all the will of God." The apostle Paul declared his faithfulness by fulfilling the mission of preaching God's Word, similar to Ezekiel's commitment to warn the people of Israel of God's will.
