1. Woe to the land, that winged cymbal, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia,

Isaiah 18 deals with Isaiah's prophetic vision about Ethiopia. The chapter begins with a description of the earth that is inhabited by a tall and slender people who live along the banks of the rivers.
