Jeremiah, 36

8. And Baruch, the son of Neriah, acted in accord with all that Jeremiah, the prophet, had instructed him, reading from the volume the words of the Lord, in the house of the Lord.

" The roll with the words of God was powerful and able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the hearts of the people.

1 Peter 1:25: "But the word of the Lord remains forever. And this is the word that was evangelized among you." God's words are eternal and remain forever, and must be proclaimed to all.
