7. Send me therefore a skilful man, that knoweth how to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, and in iron, in purple, in scarlet and in blue, and that hath skill in engraving, with the artificers, which I have with me in Judea and Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.

And it was found in his art a great skill in working with gold, silver and bronze. " These verses describe Hiram, the artisan sent by Hiram, king of Tire, to work on the construction of the temple. He had skills in working with gold, silver, bronze and other materials, which would be important for the construction of the Solomon temple.
