45. And Abimelech assaulted the city all that day: and took it, and killed the inhabitants thereof, and demolished it, so that he sowed salt in it.

This verse is a prophecy about the future king of Israel, who would come from the tribe of Judah. Abimelech, however, was not a descendant of Judah, and therefore his rise to the throne was not in accordance with this prophecy.

A superior officer observes all this; and who is superior to him observes them. " This verse talks about the importance of justice and equity in governance. Abimelech, as a leader, failed to rule with justice and equity, which led to his fall.
