54. And when this mortality has been clothed with immortality, then the word that was written shall occur: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

This verse talks about eternal life in which there will be no more death, sadness or pain, but the joy and peace that derive from the victory over the death achieved by the resurrection of Christ.
