2 Timothy 3:12: "And all who wish to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." This verse shows that persecution is a reality for those who follow Christ and preach the gospel.

John 15:18-19: "If the world hates you, know that, first than you, you hated me. If you were from the world, the world would love what was yours, but because you are not from the world before, before I chose you from the world, that's why the world hates you.
