22. But Saul was increasing to a greater extent in ability, and so he was confounding the Jews who lived at Damascus, by affirming that he is the Christ.

Colossians 1:24: "Now I rejoice in the midst of my sufferings for you and I fulfill in my flesh what remains of the afflictions of Christ, because of his body, which is the Church." Paul was an apostle who suffered a lot in his life, but never failed to rejoice in the Lord and to devote himself to the spread of the Gospel.
