10. And they took ashes from the oven, and they stood in the sight of Pharaoh, and Moses sprinkled it in the air. And there came sores with swelling pustules on men and on beasts.

In Exodus 9, God continues to send pests about Egypt as a way of showing his power and forcing Pharaoh to free the people from Israel. Pests include the death of cattle, ulcers in animals and humans, hail and grasshops.
