34. And she conceived a third time, and she gave birth to another son, and she said: “Now likewise my husband will unite with me, because I have borne him three sons.” And because of this, she called his name Levi.

Genesis 29 reports Jacob's arrival in the land of Padon-wagon, where he finds his parentela and meets Rachel, who falls in love. He then works for seven years to marry her, but is deceived by Laban, who gives him Lia instead of Rachel. Jacob then works for another seven years to marry Rachel.
