24. But the people were cheerful before the face of the sanctuary, and for three months the gladness of this victory was celebrated with Judith.

Judite 16 narrates Judite's singing after his victory over General Assyrian Holofernes. She thanks God for giving her strength and courage to overcome the enemy of her people. The following verses are related to gratitude and praise to God for their help and protection.
