48. As it was with the earthly one, so is it with the earthly people. As it is with Christ, so with the heavenly.

Revelation 21:4: "He shall wipe all tear from his eyes, and there will be no death, no weeping, no cry, no pain, because the first things are passed." This verse talks about eternal life in which there will be no more death, sadness or pain, but the joy and peace that derive from the victory over the death achieved by the resurrection of Christ.
