22. Samuel took Saul and his boy, brought them into the hall and gave them a place at the head of the table, before some thirty guests.

Genesis 49:10: "The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the command rod of his descendants, until he comes to whom he belongs and whom the peoples will obey." In this verse, the prophet Samuel confronts Saul for not obeying God's command to totally destroy the Amalequites and all his cattle, and for sparing King Agag.
