6. In a single day, Pekah son of Remaliah killed a hundred and twenty thousand in Judah, all brave fighting men; this was because they had abandoned Yahweh, the God of their ancestors.

Hosea 8:7: "For they have sown winds, and will searches storm; This verse talks about how those who plant seeds of evil will harvest the storm. Ahaz planted seeds of idolatry and alliances with pagan nations, and this resulted in torment to his people.
