Daniel, 6

26. I decree that throughout my kingdom people should reverence and fear the God of Daniel. "For he is the living God, and forever he endures; his kingdom will not be crushed, his dominion will never cease.

Daniel 6 is the chapter that narrates Daniel's story in the lions' pit. King Darius had decreed that no one could pray to any God or man other than himself, but Daniel disobeyed this order and continued to pray to God as usual.
