3. To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion, by many proofs, for forty days appearing to them, and speaking of the kingdom of God.

Acts of Apostles 1 is the first chapter of the book that reports the events of the apostles after the rise of Jesus. In this chapter, it is narrated as Jesus appeared to the apostles after his resurrection, giving them instructions and promising baptism in the Holy Spirit.
