Daniel, 6

1. It seemed good to Darius, and he appointed over the kingdom a hundred and twenty governors to be over his whole kingdom.

Daniel 6 is the chapter that narrates Daniel's story in the lions' pit. This passage encourages believers to persevere in the midst of trial and tribulation, as Daniel did in the lions' pit, remembering that God promised reward to those who love and serve him faithfully.
