Genesis, 44

4. And when they were now departed out of the city, and had gone forward a little way; Joseph sendingfor the steward of his house, said: Arise, and pursue after the men: and when thou hast overtaken them, say to them: Why have you returned evil for good?

In Genesis 44, José arouses a test for his brothers, who came to Egypt to buy food. He has a bowl in a bag of benjamin grains, the younger brother, and then accuses Benjamin of stealing the cup. The other brothers are desperate and Joseph tests them to see if they have changed their character since the last time they saw them. Proverbs 17:3: "The crucible is for silver, and the oven is for gold; but the Lord proves the hearts." This verse talks about the importance of trial and how God tests our hearts to purify us.

1 Peter 1:7: "That the proof of your faith, much more precious than the gold that perishes and is proven by fire, reduces to praise, glory, and honor in the revelation of Jesus Christ." This verse talks about how our trials help us grow in faith and glorify God.

" This verse talks about how we should face trials with joy, as they help us grow in perseverance and maturity.

Psalm 26:2: "Sand me, O Lord, and prove me; examine my heart and my mind." This verse is a prayer for God to test our hearts and help us walk in their ways.

Jeremiah 17:10: "I, the Lord, squad my heart and provoke thoughts; and this to give each one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his actions." This verse talks about how God examines our hearts and judges us according to our actions.
