8. But what went you out to see? a man clothed in soft garments? Behold they that are clothed in soft garments, are in the houses of kings.

St. Matthew chapter 11 presents the continuation of the ministry of Jesus, which begins to face the unbelief of some people and the rejection of others. " Jesus invites people to approach him, clinging to Him and learning of him to find rest and peace in his souls.

Luke 9:23: "He said to all," If anyone wants to come after me, to deny himself, day by day take his cross, and follow me. " Jesus calls people to leave everything and follow him, assuming his cross daily and finding life in union with him.
