17. Never have I joined myself with them that play: neither have I made myself partaker with them that walk in lightness.

" This verse talks about the need to be alert and resist the devil, for he is always looking for someone to try.

Ephesians 6:12: "For we do not have to fight against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the princes of darkness of this century, against the spiritual hosts of evil in the heavenly places." This verse talks about the spiritual nature of the battle that Christians face, and how they must be equipped with God's armor to resist the devil's onslaught.
