6. Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house for the LORD God of Israel.

Chapter 22 of 1 Chronicles describes David's preparation for the construction of God's temple in Jerusalem, and how he gathered the materials necessary for the work. " This verse shows how David gathered the materials needed to build the temple, including wood and stone cutters and carpenters.

2 Chronicles 2:4-5-"Behold, I will build a house to the name of the Lord my God, to consecrate it, to burn the aromatic incense before him, to put the bread of continuous proposition over it, and to offer holocaustos In the morning and in the afternoon, on Saturdays, on the new moons, and in the feasts of the Lord our God; which is perpetually ordered in Israel. " This verse shows how Solomon completed the work of building the temple and how it will be used for worship of God.
