38. Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?

In Acts of Apostles 21, Paul and his companions arrive in Jerusalem and are well received by the brothers. However, some Jews begin to accuse Paul of teaching against the law and the temple, resulting in a series of conflicts and persecution. Acts 21:27-29: "Now, when they were to finish the seven days, the Jews of Asia, see him in the temple, stirred all the people and resorted to him, crying out: Israeli men, this is the man who Teaches everyone everywhere against the people, and against the law, and against this place; and even introduced Greeks into the temple, and profaned this holy place. Acts 21:33: "Then the tribune, coming close to him, arrested him and told him with two chains, and asked who he was and what he had done." This verse marks the moment Paul is arrested and taken to be tried before the Sanhedrin.
