21. These men [are] peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, [it is] large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters.

Genesis 34 tells the story of Diná, daughter of Jacob, who is raped by a prince of a neighboring city named Shechem. Proverbs 31:8-9 - "Open your mouth in favor of the mute, for the right of all the helpless. Open your mouth, judge, and do justice to the poor and the needy."
