Jeremiah, 16

6. Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall [men] lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:

Jeremiah chapter 16 speaks about God's command so that Jeremiah will not marry or have children, for there will be great destruction and death in Judah and there will be no reason to celebrate life. Zechariah 7:12: "They made their hard hearts as a diamond, so as not to hear the law and the words that the Lord of hosts had sent for His Spirit through the ancient prophets, so came the great wrath of the Lord of hosts . " This verse talks about how resistance to God's words can lead to God's wrath and its punishment.
