Jeremiah, 6

11. Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with [him that is] full of days.

Isaiah 1:16-17: "Wash, purify you, take the evil from your acts from before my eyes; cease to do evil. I learned to do good; , deal with the cause of the widows. " This verse calls people to abandon their sins and practice justice and goodness as a way of pleasing God.
