Joshua, 6

1. Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.

Joshua chapter 6 describes the fall of the walls of Jericho, one of the most famous biblical stories of conquest. 2 Chronicles 20:15: "You do not fear, nor are you scary because of this great multitude; for the fight is not yours, but of God." This verse is part of Jehoshaphat's speech to Judah's armies before the battle against the Moabites and Ammonites.
