3. For God breaketh the battles: for among the camps in the midst of the people he hath delivered me out of the hands of them that persecuted me.

Judite 16 narrates Judite's singing after his victory over General Assyrian Holofernes. She thanks God for giving her strength and courage to overcome the enemy of her people. The following verses are related to gratitude and praise to God for their help and protection.
