Leviticus, 22

2. Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name [in those things] which they hallow unto me: I [am] the LORD.

Hebrews 13:15-16: "Through Jesus, then let us offer God, always, sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget of charity and communication, because with such sacrifices God is pleased. " This verse points out that the sacrifices God values ​​most are not animals or material goods, but our worship and love for Him, as well as our willingness to help and serve others.

Malachi 1:13-14: "even more said unto me, Here is here, that fastener is this! And you have thrown me, says the Lord of hosts; Armies; and bring the stolen, and the lame and the sick; so do the offer. I would accept to you, therefore, of your hand? Says the Lord. " This verse shows that God does not accept offers that are not sincere and are made with disdain or disrespect. He expects our offers to be made with sincerity and humility.
