10. Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I [am] the LORD your God.

Numbers 10 describes the preparation of the children of Israel to leave Mount Sinai toward the promised land. The chapter includes instructions for manufacturing two silver trumpets to be used as signals for the congregation. This verse is a reference to the cloud and fire that guided the children of Israel during the desert journey. It shows that God was present and led them, even in difficult times.
