2. The daughter of Dibon has gone up to the high places to weep; over Nebo and over Med'eba Moab wails. On every head is baldness, every beard is shorn;

Isaiah 15 describes the destruction of Moab, a neighboring people of Israel. The chapter narrates the affliction and despair of the Moabites in the face of the invasion and divine judgment. Next are five verses related to the topics addressed in Isaiah 15:
