3. You shall say to them, Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Cursed be the man who does not heed the words of this covenant

Psalm 25:10: "All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth to those who keep their covenant and their testimonies." This verse speaks of the importance of obedience to the covenant with God and the promise of mercy and truth to those who keep it.
