3. We caught sight of Cyprus but passed by it on our left and sailed on toward Syria and put in at Tyre where the ship was to unload cargo.

In Acts of Apostles 21, Paul and his companions arrive in Jerusalem and are well received by the brothers. However, some Jews begin to accuse Paul of teaching against the law and the temple, resulting in a series of conflicts and persecution. Acts 21:33: "Then the tribune, coming close to him, arrested him and told him with two chains, and asked who he was and what he had done." This verse marks the moment Paul is arrested and taken to be tried before the Sanhedrin.
