8. The book of this law shall not depart from your mouth. Instead, you shall meditate upon it, day and night, so that you may observe and do all the things that are written in it. Then you shall direct your way and understand it.

Matthew 28:19-20: "Therefore, go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all the things I have sent you; And behold, I am with you every day, until the consummation of the centuries. " This verse highlights the importance of obeying God's orders and following his command, just as Joshua was commissioned by God to lead his people in conquering the promised land.
