Proverbs 22:6: "Teaches the child on the path where he should walk, and even when he is elderly he will not deviate from him." This verse highlights the importance of teaching and guiding children, a message emphasized by Jesus in St. Mark 10.
Matthew 19:21: "Jesus answered, If you want to be perfect, go, sell everything you have, and give it to the poor and have a treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me." This verse is similar to Jesus' response to the young rich in St. Mark 10, emphasizing the importance of abandoning everything in favor of following Christ.
Matthew 19:6: "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has united, no one separates him." This verse relates to Jesus' discussion of divorce in St. Mark 10, reinforcing the idea that marriage is a sacred union that must be maintained.
Luke 18:17: "Truth I say unto you, Whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God as a child shall not enter into him." This statement of Jesus reinforces the importance of children, which He blessed in St. Mark 10 and stated that they represent those who are worthy of the Kingdom of God.
