Proverbs, 3

28. Do not say to your friend: “Go away, and then return. Tomorrow I will give to you.” When you are able to do so, give in the present.

Chapter 3 of the Book of Proverbs contains several teachings about wisdom, justice and prudence, as well as encouraging obedience to God and confidence in His ways. The verses selected below address these themes and relate to the chapter in question:
