8. I saw by night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees, which were in the chasm. And behind him were horses: red, speckled, and white.

" This verse shows how Zechariah's message about the need for repentance and obedience is in harmony with the prophecies of other prophets, such as Jeremiah, who predicted the exile and punishment of Judah and Babylon.

Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans of peace and not evil, to give them a future and hope."
