11. Jesus was now near Jerusalem and the people with him thought that God's reign was about to appear. So as they were listening to him, Jesus went on to tell them a parable.

In Luke 19, Jesus finds and saves Zacchaeus, a tax collector, and tells the parable of the ten mines, where a man trust his assets to his servants before leaving. The selected verses are as follows:

Deuteronomy 14:28-29: "After three years, you will take the tithe of all fruits of the third year, and you will deposit it in your cities.
