Chapter 20 of 2 kings relates the story of Hezekiah, king of Judah, who badly gets sick. Isaiah 38:1: "In those days, Hezekiah became sick and almost died. The prophet Isaiah, son of Amoz, went to him and said, 'Thus saith the Lord, Give your family orders, because you will die; will not recover '. " This verse introduces the theme of Hezekiah's disease and God's intervention through the prophet Isaiah.

" This verse shows the attitude of Hezekiah after his healing, which was praising God for his mercy and faithfulness.
