3. The Ammonite and the Moabite, even after the tenth generation shall not enter into the church of the Lord for ever:

Deuteronomy 23 deals with social laws and norms that govern the life of the community of Israel. Personal hygiene is important to moral purity, and the people of Israel must be aware to avoid any impurities, both physical and moral.
