8. In saying before, Sacrifices, and oblations, and holocausts for sin thou wouldest not, neither are they pleasing to thee, which are offered according to the law.

As many in his sight amazed, for his aspect was so disfigured that he was not that of a man, and His figure was not that of the children of men, so he will sprinkle many nations, and the kings will close their mouths because of him; for what has not been announced to them, and what they have not heard will understand. " This verse points to the suffering of Jesus on the cross and how essential it was for the purification of the sins of humanity.

Jeremiah 31:33: "But this is the pact that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, I shall put my law within, and I will write it into His heart; and I will be your God and they will be my people. " This verse highlights God's promise to write his law in the heart of humanity, which is only possible through the sacrifice of Jesus.
