Jeremiah, 26

2. Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD'S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:

Jeremiah chapter deals with the prophet's prophecy about the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem, and how religious and politicians reacted to this message. 2 Kings 19:2 - "And sent Eliakim, who was over the house, and Sebna, the registrar, and the elders of the priests, dressed in bags, Isaiah the son of Amoz the prophet." This verse mentions the prophet Isaiah, who also prophesied about the destruction of Jerusalem, and how the leaders sought their guidance.

Ezekiel 33:30-33-"Thus, thus, O Son of man, speak to the children of your people and say unto them, When I make the sword on earth, and the people of the earth take a man of his own Terms, and constitute it for his Atalaia; and he comes to see the sword to come upon the earth, and to touch the trumpet and to warn the people, if he who hears the sound of the trumpet is not warned, and the sword and the sword and the Taking, your blood will be over your head. And behold, you have filled with your doctrine, and want upon us the blood of this man. " This verse shows how the religious leaders of the New Testament also pursue those who preached the message of God, as well as the leaders of Jerusalem in the time of Jeremiah.
