1 Kings 8:23: "And said," Lord, God of Israel, there is no God as you in heaven above or in the earth below, you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who worship you with all your heart. " This verse talks about God's love for those who worship him with all his heart.
Psalm 51:16-17: "For you do not delete you in sacrifices; otherwise I would bring them; in holocausts you do not please you. The sacrifices that please God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise . " This verse relates to the idea of Psalm 50 that God does not need the sacrifices, but of sincere and repentant hearts.
Isaiah 1:11: "What does the large numbers of his sacrifices care?" Says the Lord. "I am already fed up with the holocausts of sheep and fat from fat steers. I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls, lambs and of goats. " This verse reinforces the idea that God does not need the sacrifices, but of hearts truly dedicated to Him.
Hosea 6:6: "For I want love, not sacrifices; knowledge of God instead of holocaustos." This verse relates to the idea of Psalm 50 that the Lord does not need the sacrifices, but of sincere and loving hearts.
Jeremiah 7:22: "For when I took them from Egypt, I did not talk to them or give them orders about burnt offering and sacrifices." This verse reinforces the idea that sacrifices are not the essence of the relationship with God, but an outer expression of communion with Him.
