16. From now onwards, then, we will not consider anyone by human standards: even if we were once familiar with Christ according to human standards, we do not know him in that way any longer.

Chapter 5 of 2 Corinthians talks about the Christian perspective of death and eternal life. John 11:25-26: "Jesus said unto him, I am resurrection and life. He who believes in me, even though he dies, shall live; and all who lives and believes in me will not die, forever. Jesus promises eternal life to those who believe in them, even if they die physically.

Colossians 3:4: "When Christ, who is our life, manifest himself, then you will manifest with Him in glory." This verse talks about our identity in Christ and the fact that our lives are in it. When he returns, we will be with him in glory.

2 Timothy 1:10: "But it has now been manifested by the appearance of our Savior Jesus Christ, who abolished death, and brought to light life and incorption through the Gospel." Jesus abolished death and brought eternal life through the Gospel.

2 Corinthians 5:20: "So that we are ambassadors of Christ, as if God prayed for us. This verse talks about our responsibility as Christ ambassadors, to share the message of reconciliation with God with those around us.
