Jeremiah, 26

7. The priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.

Jeremiah chapter deals with the prophet's prophecy about the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem, and how religious and politicians reacted to this message. And behold, you have filled with your doctrine, and want upon us the blood of this man. " This verse shows how the religious leaders of the New Testament also pursue those who preached the message of God, as well as the leaders of Jerusalem in the time of Jeremiah.
