19. Why should we and our land perish before your very eyes? Take us and our land in exchange for food, and we will become Pharaoh's slaves and our land his property; only give us seed, that we may survive and not perish, and that our land may not turn into a waste."

Genesis 47 narrates the continuation of Joseph's story and how he helped Pharaoh save Egypt from hunger by administering grain sales. Philippians 4:19: "My God, according to His riches, will supply all your needs in glory by Christ Jesus." Provision of food and land for Jacob's family is an example of God's faithfulness to meet all our needs.
