Judite 16 narrates Judite's singing after his victory over General Assyrian Holofernes. She thanks God for giving her strength and courage to overcome the enemy of her people. The following verses are related to gratitude and praise to God for their help and protection.
Psalm 66:19-20: "But God listened to me; He answered my prayer. Blessed be God, who has not rejected my prayer or pushed his love from me!" This psalm speaks of gratitude to God for hearing and answered the prayers of those who seek Him.
Psalm 118:21: "I thank you because you answered me and you were my salvation." This psalm also expresses gratitude to God for responding to prayers and granted salvation.
