1 Chronicles, 17

25. For you, O Lord my God, have revealed to the ear of your servant that you will build a house for him. And therefore your servant has found faith so that he might pray before you.

Psalm 89:35-37: "In no way do I remove my faithfulness from David, nor will I break my covenant with Him. I will establish your descent forever and your throne, like the days of heaven." This verse speaks of God's faithfulness to his promise to establish David's dynasty forever.

Jeremiah 23:5: "Days will come, the Lord declares, in which I will raise a righteous descendant, a king who will reign with wisdom and do what is just and correct on earth." This verse speaks of the prophecy that Jesus, descended from David, would reign as a righteous and wise king.
